Andrea Mereu, Ph.D., Director R&D Chemical Division
obtained a Ph.D degree in Organic Chemistry in the year 2000 based on his work carried out at the University of Sheffield, UK.
He spent 7 years at Zambon as Senior Scientist in the Medicinal Chemistry centre in Switzerland and then joined Cerbios-Pharma SA as Team Leader in 2008. In 2010, he was appointed as Director of the R&D Chemical Division. Under his direction the R&D team, besides providing support to current products, was able to fully develop new processes for NCEs and to successfully carry out technology transfer of established production processes.
Andrea is the author of 14 patents and peer-reviewed publications in the field of Organic Chemistry.
